I captured this shot of a peacock butterfly at Stover lake, it was basking in the sun long enough for me to take this photo (which made a change as butterflies usually fly off just as I take the photo!).

- At the start of 2007 I set myself a challenge, to take a photo each day and post it to my blog. The idea is to get me out in the fresh air a bit more, exploring places I wouldn't normally go to, and to improve my photographic and editing techniques. There may be the odd day here and there that I don't have time or inclination to take a photo, but I'll still try and make a blog entry using a photo I have taken previously. This blog isn't really a diary as such, it’s more about my photos than about me. My camera is a FujiFilm FinePix E900.
